PRECIOUS
UPLAND BIRD
habitat
is rapidly diminishing and so are the opportunities for traditional
wild bird hunting at its best. While a few landowners still welcome
bird hunters and their dogs with little more than a wave, the
indisputable trend is toward leasing land to the highest bidder.
The quality of bird hunting on public lands varies wildly, and
access is subject to increasingly restrictive regulations at both
the state and federal levels of government.
Lock & Hackle will
deploy its resources to secure for its members premium wild bird
habitat during peak season throughout the world. Our expert team
of upland bird hunters closely tracks the progress of emerging
opportunities for wild birds, and constantly monitors the quality
of wild birds on public lands. Our team will be available to accompany
members on bird hunting expeditions both domestically and abroad,
to offer guidance and instruction, and to ensure the safety of
our members and guests.
As the Club continues
to canvass the globe for great undiscovered bird hunting destination,
it will simultaneously provide premium access to hunting's great
and hallowed traditions -- quail hunts on private plantations
in Thomasville, grouse on the venerable English and Scottish moors,
wild partridge shoots on the Spanish fincas, and of course, the
best wild birds in Argentina, Texas, Montana, and South Dakota.
For members with a taste for the exotic, the adventures will range
from capercaille in Norway to greylag goose on remote Scottish
isles.
